Interlock according to machine guidelines for the AC input of laboratory power supplies

The Lock AC option enables the user of our DC sources of the LAB/HP series to disconnect the laboratory power supply from the mains as required, this function can also be integrated into an existing EMERGENCY OFF chain.

There are many applications where an interlock function for the input is required according to machine guidelines. As with the Lock DC option, there are also different performance levels that need to be taken into account, which must be clarified with the customer in advance of each project.

With the option AC - Interlock according to machine guidelines, the input is internally separated from the mains via contactors. The internal contactors can either be activated via a control voltage or by opening a wire bridge, in function of the customer's requirements. It is also possible to save the last settings of the output values so that the output only has to be released when the mains is switched on again.

Typical applications are automated test procedures, production processes and applications with high safety requirements where the user must not come into contact with the input voltage or output voltage. This requirement exists in all industries.
