Add-on functions Laboratory power supplies of the LAB/HP series 30 kW in 3U

The DC sources of the LAB/HP type already have many useful extra functions in the standard version, which simplify the daily handling of the devices for the user, such as: t-Enable. After a defined time, the DC source is automatically put back into standby. An application here is, for example, the manual testing of varistors, or the examination of motor start processes.

• The Slope function can be used to limit the rise time of current and voltage from standby. Applications are for example the testing of laser diodes.
• The AI filter function is a digitally adjustable filter for the analog interface. The filter allows to use also strongly noisy analog signals as control signals for time-uncritical applications.
• With the Lock-Front function, the display can be completely locked by a simple key combination and the source outputs the last set values directly after switching on.
• Remember last settings: The source has the option to make the last saved values available again on restart (the source remains in standby). This makes it easier to test applications where something has to be changed frequently and the test source is often deactivated.

Protection function to customer application UVLO: This function can switch off the output after a defined time specification if a short circuit occurs in the customer application when the device is operated in U constant mode.

OCP: This function switches the output off after a defined time preset if the preset current is exceeded.
